For the first time since January, the Army has met its monthly recruiting goal of 5,650. They actually exceeded the number by some 500 recruits, mostly due to the Army widening their standards to include stray dogs, cats and garden gnomes.

Those garden gnomes get around. Have you seen that one that went all around the world getting pictures of it with people? I can't wait until we see a photo of Osama Bin Laden with a garden gnome on the front page of the times.
