New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was showing Russian President Vladimir Putin his diamond-encrusted 2005 SuperBowl at a recent meeting with US business executives. Putin tried it on, then put it in his pocket and left. Kraft later said the ring was a gift. What's the big deal? It's hardly the first time a world leader has been entrusted with something valuable, only to do away with it first chance he gets.
