According to a report in the NYTimes, the latest six-year, $4.7 billion effort to slash Colombia’s coca crop hasn't made a bit of difference in terms of the cost and availability on the streets of America. Maybe the government should call a halt on their ill-fated Wars on Drugs, Iraq and Gay Marriage and instead rally their forces strictly against Terrorism, Poverty and Stupidity.
