On the plane over to the US from the Vatican yesterday, Pope Benedict XVI revealed that the Catholic church was “deeply ashamed” over the ongoing sexual abuse scandal here. From the flying confessional he promised they “would absolutely exclude pedophiles from the sacred ministry.” Nice -- finally, after 2000 years, they take some action on the guys gettin' some action.
